A little about us...

We are a small, family owned business. Tom and I both work non-stop doing what we love best and feel very grateful for this opportunity.  We are located just outside of Kansas City, Missouri, so your new home decor wood pieces will be made in the USA! You can find out more about our story: 

What is the current lead time?

Our current lead time is 10-14 days as of August 2, 2023. Please know that sometimes as a small business we can hit a snag and things can slow us down but we will work hard to keep up with this posted time. We appreciate your patience while we create your beautiful handmade item! If you need to verify a ship date, just message us!

What are your shipping rates?

Purchases over $75.00 are free. Under $75.00 are a flat rate of $7.99. If you are in Hawaii or Alaska, please message us for rates as they are NOT the same. We wish they were. We ship only to the United States (48 contiguous). We do not ship to APO, FPO or PO boxes.

What if I want to make a change after the order is placed?

Unfortunately, once your order is placed your choices are processed. For this reason, no changes can be made once you hit the SUBMIT button. Also know we are ALWAYS just an email away. Message us with any questions prior to ordering.

Can I return an item?

Returns are a hassle for everyone. Since these are custom made, we strongly encourage you to read our listing and our FAQ page prior to purchasing. Altered items are not returnable.  We work hard to provide answers to many questions. Familiarize yourself with our return policy prior to purchasing. We are not a big box store and returns may not be what you are accustomed to if you shop box stores.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

Your item is being made just for you. These are not pre-made. It is extremely important that you measure your space or stove. Keep in mind color can vary from monitor to monitor so if you need color samples, just use our link to order the colors you need. 

Custom orders are not refundable. This includes size and lettering. Measure your stove and check your spelling.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SIZING. Please use the sizing guide tab on the product description for examples and more specific nformation.

Always measure your stove to ensure a good fit. These are not returnable once they are engraved. 

We offer 9 standard sizes and do not build custom sizes. If your measurement falls in the middle of the measurements we offer, size up as long as your stove can accomodate the board:

Custom board information:

Custom wording are available for an additional fee.

Custom wording does NOT mean changing names and dates. It means changing a board design to something other than what is shown.

For example, our board has a floral wreath with names and established date, your change request is a paw print wreath with dog names. There is a fee for that because the board design was changed.

The fee does NOT apply in this situation, our board has a floral wreath with names and established date. Your change is to personalize the board with your information, names and established date.


A few facts:

❤️ - Stained boards are made from cabinet-grade baltic birch plywood. 

❤️- Painted boards may be medium density fiberboard or thermally fused laminate. Our stained boards are Baltic Birch. All of our products are responsibly sourced and have various certifications.

❤️ - No decals are used. We laser engrave and depending on the style ordered will hand paint the engraving for that little extra pop!

❤️ - The flat style has bar handles. There are 3 colors. Box style has handles notched on each side.

❤️ - Comes with felt feet if you purchase the flat versions (to be installed)

❤️ - They are designed to fit a standard range.

❤️ - Only use when the stove is cool and not turned on. Use common sense with this one :-)

❤️ - Not flame retardant. 

❤️ - Not food safe. It is not meant for chopping on or placing hot items on it.

❤️ - Made in the USA by a small, family-owned woodworking business!

Where do you ship? Who is your shipper? How much is shipping?

Shipping is free for the contiguous U.S. We ship only to the United States.

Most items will arrive assembled. If an item requires assembly, it will be stated on the listing. Our carrier is FedEx and UPS. We will ship to the address listed on your order. If you have entered the wrong address, just message us before we ship your item. We can help. But once it ships, it has to be redirected and FedEx charges for that service.

If you are local to Kansas City, contact us to pick your item up and save the shipping charge.

Large coffee tables are sent via FedEx freight. An adult may need to be present for delivery. Delivery is to the front door, back door or garage door. If you are interested in white glove service, contact us for a quote.

Do you have sales or promo codes?

We like to keep our orders at a manageable level. We are a small company of 6-9 employees. On occasion we will have a sale if we feel like we can fulfill orders in a timely manner. Additional discount codes are not valid during sales.

Sale price matching is not available during black Friday-cyber Monday sales.

Sale prices (outside of bfcm) can be price-matched for 3 days after the purchase. If it is after 3 days, no matching will be made.

What happens if my item arrives with shipping damage?

We really hate shipping damage. We use a ton of packing material to get your item from our shop to your home damage free. We want the moment you open your box to be a gloriously happy moment. FedEx and UPS take very good care of our packages, but things still happen beyond our control. It is imperative that you open your package right away and contact us within 3 days of delivery for assistance. If contact isn't made within this time, we are unable to help.

Although the damage is not common, like everything else, it can happen. If it happens to you, relax and know we will help you! Send us pictures of the damaged item and the damaged box. Most items can be repaired easily with help from us.

We will provide replacement parts for any damage.
