Damage or new parts
What happens if my item arrives with shipping damage?
We really hate shipping damage. We use a ton of packing material to get your item from our shop to your home damage-free. We want the moment you open your box to be a gloriously happy moment. FedEx and UPS take very good care of our packages, but things still happen beyond our control. Open your package right away and contact us within 3 days of delivery for assistance. If contact isn't made within this time, we are unable to help.
Although the damage is not common, like everything else, it can happen. If it happens to you, relax and know we will help you! Here is what to do:
- Send us pictures of the damaged item and the damaged box. Items can be repaired easily with help from us. This might include sending touch-up paint or sending a replacement part. Any piece on the cabinet can be replaced by us and installed with minimal effort from the customer.
- We will provide replacement parts for any damage within a week. Pieces can replaced with a screwdriver.
- In the event we offer replacement parts for the repair and you opt to return the item on your own, a restocking fee of 25% will be applied.
If you run into a situation where a piece is not working for you, contact us immediately for a replacement piece. Our parts are cut using an industrial CNC machine. The likelihood that a piece is cut wrong is rare but not impossible. We will replace the part within a week.
Parts warranty:
Contact us if you have any issues within one year of your purchase date. We will gladly help you with replacement parts free of charge.
If your purchase date exceeds one year, we will ask that you pick up the shipping cost of the part but we will replace the part free of charge.
Hardware will be replaced one time free of charge. If you find that you need a repeat of the same piece or it is beyond one year, we will provide a replacement but ask that you pay the shipping charge for the item.
